I am listening to Jason Leitch on @BBCRadioScot and he is losing me. When asked about testing he seems to be saying that testing would only be effective if there are symptoms to pick up and that existing tests are not fullproof so there is no point in population testing just now.
However, there has been extensive testing in other countries such as South Korea, Germany and others with Germany conducting 120,000 virus tests per day and now moving to nationwide antibody tests. The UK seems to be totally out of step with other countries where the virus has
