Hi, I’m not native, but in lieu of what has happened tonight I feel that this is important coming from the point of view of a trained social worker. It’s our responsibility as Canadians to do our best to right what has gone incredibly wrong in our past with our native peoples.

It is OK to not understand things when you don’t experience them, but please learn and try to understand. Listen to native peoples on their issues, they know what they’ve been through best!
