I spent my entire life poor working multiple jobs, stretching $20 for weeks, eating a snack as a meal.

The situations & things I’ve seen because I had no option but to walk at night, ride the bus, work 14+ hour days with one 10 min break, lying to coworkers to avoid hanging out.

It was a lot having to work multiple jobs with no days off. That shit is traumatic.

Even as an organizer, I had paid work trips but I didn’t have ANY money. I couldn’t even afford water at the airport.

I know what it’s like to have to ask for money online or beg for $10 to buy ramen until payday. You don’t forget that shit.

I always always try to help my friends and fam out with money because I know what it’s like!! I had to stay at jobs where the managers would scream in my face or yell racist things at me because I had no other choice.

I’ve only had a salary job for a year and since then everyone says I “make so much money.” Fuck off. I’m not going to feel guilty for buying shit I never had and things I fucking need. wtf
