The second video of the tragedy shows people remonstrating with police officers while Winston had arms/hands in the air. CNN quotes witnesses saying the cops forced them away and declared they would kill the retired soldier.

If those witnesses are right, sounds like premeditated action, sparked by anger at what police felt was the disrespect shown them earlier by the veteran w PTSD.

But what really takes the cake is that you call for an ambulance but prevent people from coming to the aid of a man you've shot. That has nothing to do with self-defense and everything to do w cruelty and brute force.
