I don't see that many people talking about the philosophical aspects of this pandemic despite the apparent. Did we reach a precipice? Was this (civilization, as constructed) sustainable? Is there a higher, conscious entity? There is much to be explored in the face of this.

i am now more astounded by the achievements of great artists and thinkers of the past who achieved in times of great strife and peril, beyond what we now can even comprehend. there is something more than this (italics), and we have lost sight of it.
