Of child porn and would have faced a maximum of 10 years in prison and a lifetime of sex offender registration. They are both 28 years old now, have been together since they were 12 and are married and planning a family... /3
His wife is a CNA and he is a manager at Kroger. Imagine if they had both been charged for the felonies they had committed where they would both be right now. He didn't believe me. And he didn't believe they had committed a crime. He said there's no way the law would do... /3
That to two innocent teens. But they would. I still don't think he believes me about the punishment they both would have endured. And this is my best friend. He knows more about the registry than the average person because he hangs out with me... /4
And he still doesn't get how flawed and misguided public registries are. I get that people don't like child abusers. I am a dad. I don't like child abusers either but I believe if the general public knew how bad and counter productive public Shame registries are... /5
