The haters have always tried to push a narrative that most of SK's films are the same except for a couple of films. Their main complaints are he always plays a jobless youth and stalks the heroine, but I beg to differ. Let's take a closer look at his filmography, THREAD ALERT:

Marina In this film, SK owns a small business so he's not jobless and he doesn't really stalk Oviya either. The film captures the many "regular" characters who visit the beach and SK's character is one who yearns to "kadalai podu-fy" at the beach. So haters are 0/1 so far.

MKP: No argument here , this is the movie that the haters cling to, but on the upside we see that his character ends up successful in life (manages to buy a car). Haters are 1/2 now.

KBKR: Alright this is how the haters use sly tricks to push their agenda. Yes, in the movie SK's character is jobless and stalks, but that's the GOD DAMN point of the film. How TF do you learn a lesson without making mistakes. Believe it or not this film contains a noble msg.
