And no, -the- solution to climate change is not reducing population growth (as the documentary suggests). It turns out that the parts of the world where population growth is concentrated have next-to-no emissions. Climate change not driven by least developed countries:
Some objectively good measures like improving female literacy and workforce participation can help reduce population (vs immoral coercive measures) and should be pursued. But don't expect them to be a panacea for climate.
