Today I confirmed SE Asian folks are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. Families decimated. Factory workers getting sick. Undocumented folks getting ill. But no one will talk b/c reporters have done this community dirty and researchers aren't collecting data. Devastating.

Wish more journalists were trained to be accountable to communities. I wish more reporters worked as though they were in communities. I wish more journalists were from marginalized communities themselves.
