Woke media doesnt have to suck. Get Out, Atlanta, 7 Secs, & a few other tv series/films are woke, but due to strong writing & layered chars, theyre quite good. The issue with most wokeness is that it’s painfully forced. Chars scream “look how woke I am” without offering any depth

There’s a big difference between Peggy in Mad Men (a well written feminist char) & forced nonsense with absolute garbage writing such as what we see in comics & film today. So the issue isn’t necessarily ‘wokeness’, it’s sleepwalkers who force trash while thinking they’re woke.

Anyways, there’s no real purpose to this thread. Just random thoughts that entered my head. I’ll go back to my regularly scheduled shitposting now.
