Create an extra account so you can try on 2 browsers. Might not matter in long run, but this way you can use chrome and firefox for instance. You can use the same account on both but then it affects your cart. 2/7

Add a 2nd address - can be same address with slight spelling change (ST vs street). This will help you navigate past where it doesn't show shipping options. Just toggle the addresses until it shows. 3/7

Have multiple tabs open so that you can keep one wheel spinning while refreshing the others. It helps to have the URLs you will need at each step saved. 4/7

Make sure you are logged in to your accounts BEFORE the site goes crazy. I am not sure how long you stay logged in but I have been for more than a day before. So log in that morning and then maybe an hour before it goes live. 6/7

Yesterday Project 2020 went live early to beat the bots (and they intentionally misspelled some things to throw bots off too - so they are trying - I guess) and Bowman 1st Edition went live early today too. So consider that also.
