Jimi ni sugoi ! (2016)
kono etsuko is so dedicated to work for the fashion magazine she admires she never look for a job elsewhere and apply there every year, until one time the company finally contacts her to give her a job but in the proofreading department.

- suda love interest hi
- shows the world of an editing company and those who work at the bottom but whose job is maybe the most important
- very nice adult relationship and the hardships that come with it
- gay side character

Okitegami Kyoko no biboroku (2015)
Okitegami Kyoko is a detective that solves cases in one day, because when she sleeps at night her memory resets and she doesn't remember anything except what's written on her body: her name, job, and condition.

- refreshing detective drama
- a little rushed at the end tho
- some cases literally made me cry ;;
- i personally think okada is very funny

Haken Urainashi Ataru (2019)
Ataru starts as a temporary worker in an event planning company. But everyone in the team she joined is struggling. She reluctantly uses her divination capacity to give them advices while talking down on them.

- they made shison jun say he had no interest in heroes i'm gonna sue
- very uplifting, with a well-rounded main character
- dive a little into child abuse and how it can affect self worth as a grown-up

Okusama wa, tori atsukai chui (2017)
Nami quits being a super secret spy to fulfill her dream of becoming a housewife in order to feel domestic warmth and love which she never knew. She has a strong sense of justice and get involved in the troubles of her neighbours/friends.

- ends with the best cliffhanger but a movie is coming
- tackles domestic violence, harassment and discrimination etc.
- miss leave your husband and marry me i'm in love with you
- a tad too conservative sometimes tho

Kyou kara ore wa!! (2018)
About two boys who decides to become delinquents when entering high school bc it's in fashion (tsuppari) and their fights with other schools and even the yakuza.

- my guilty pleasure drama of 2018 bc i needed the blood and violence
- so ye warnings for that
- idiot characters i love to see it
- girls are great but love interests
- no brains just fights
- offbeat comedy sometimes...

Legal V (2018)
Takanashi Shoko once worked for a great attorney company but she was destituted and cannot practice law again. Tho she takes control of a minor law firm to go against her former employer.

- ace attorney drama kinda lmao
- fights against injustice but always pretends to be only interested in money main character
- also train bento enthusiast ??
- many cameo by toku actors
- here's my fav clip from it

Strong woman Do Bong Soon (2017)
Do Bong Soon is really strong, a gift shared by women in her family for generations. She dreams of becoming a character designer but upon witnessing her ability the young ceo of the company she aspires to enter wants to employ her as a bodyguard.

- romantic comedy with action
- i was scared of the possibility of a love triangle but it disappeared by itself
- very refreshing male lead head over heels for the girl like a stupid teenager
- funny and good for boring times

Age of Youth (2016)
The lives of five roommates in a share house, but each of them may have something to hide ?

- deals with many issues but hm warnings for abuse, self-hate, sex work, harassment, grief etc.
- i do not care for the romance in this, it's trash, i do not see it
- but the relationship between girls who learn to rely on each other
- do not watch season 2 it does not exist

Children of Nobody (2018-2019)
A very dark drama about child abuse. Cha Woo Kyung is a counselor at a child care center, she ends up collaborating with the police on various cases involving children, while her all life spiral down.

- very upsetting ;; but also focus on setting things right and bring justice to the children
- beautifully orchestrated
- more warnings for death/murder, also animal abuse, gore etc

3 will be free (2019)
Three young people running away from a crime scene and falling for each other.

- lgbt drama with polyamory rs and trans character written respectfully
- none of them dies tho a lot of people die
- warning for guns, murder, mafia, sex work, sexual assault etc.
- girls on top

Ore no skirt, doko itta? (2019)
Harada Nobuo is a gay and cross-dressing man who comes to work as a teacher in order to bring diversity in school. He will help students to find theirselves with his weird grandiose teaching methods.

- lgbt drama with openly gay mc and the coming out of a trans character, also hints of polyamory
- sometimes weird or a little awkward but really sweet and tries to be respectful
- warnings for bullying, manipulation, child abuse etc.
- teach the ways to forgiveness and tolerance

Two weddings and a funeral (2012)
Not a drama but a movie. Two doctor friends and colleagues get married, but they are a gay man and a lesbian. They have to pretend to be a happy couple while navigating their other relationships.

- a movie about being lgbt in korea
- as you can guess from the title someone dies but there's still a happy ending
- warnings for homophobia and discrimination
- a sweet and sour watch

Hotel del luna (2019)
Jang Man Wol has been the owner of the guest house of the moon for at least a thousand years, the simple guest house became a luxurious hotel where ghosts can rest before crossing to the other side.

- it was really popular last year
- watched for mina and iu stayed for the intricate double narrative and sweet mature romance
- warnings for death/murder, harassment, abuse, vengeance and more
- cried for a side chara ;;

Dating class (2019)
At university a professor is holding a class that teach students dating etiquette and basic knowledge bc apparently young people are dumb-dumbs ???

- gyuri and chuu are cute in this
- it's on youtube go watch it
- really sweet and real about the difficulty of relationships for young adults
- no special warnings but it does get a little tense sometimes
