Media ignoring this story: "WI Election conducted safely during pandemic", @govevers tried to link cases to polling places: found 19 in 325K voters/pollworkers, rate 6/100K vs rate 6x higher for WI voting age residents not at polls Apr 7 - rate 36/100k #tracking-source=home-top-story">https://madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt-and-politics/19-spring-election-voters-poll-workers-contract-novel-coronavirus-but-cause-unknown/article_7a74ad9f-1170-5e24-af0b-a7606a73ccda.html #tracking-source=home-top-story">https://madison.com/wsj/news/... 1/4
Weeks of Community Spread in WI means cannot know with certainty the source of most cases... but there is NO evidence that voting in-person increased number of WI cases. Even so I encourage absentee voting in 2020. Request an absentee ballot at http://MyVote.WI.gov"> http://MyVote.WI.gov  2/4
Meanwhile no investigation or reporting by @govevers on cases related to: using mass transit, working in packing plant, living in nursing home, visiting a medical facility, etc- lots of resources used in attempt to justify chaos caused by his last minute flip-flop on election 3/4
Hypothesis: In-person voting will cause spike in #covid19 cases in WI. Sample grp 325,000 voters&pollworkers at polls Apr 7 in WI age 18+, cases reported Apr 9-21 = 19, rate 6/100k. Control grp 4.2M voting age ppl not at polls, case rate 36/100k. Hypothesis not supported 4/4
