☝️thing I have loved about our @WyndhamBball OCCs has been the Q & As - here is a short clip from OCC#1 with @HillierGerard on decision making.

“Decision making is the king… All their footwork can be fantastic... if your decision making is poor, your footwork is irrelevant”
Another highlight of OCC#1 was @KennedyKereama and his very nice iPad set up demonstrating some of the intricacies of teaching PNR offence. Lots of knowledge shared from Coach Kereama, including this point of timing cues for the screening to roll/seperate.
The sharing continued in OCC#2 with @TownsvilleFire's @shannonseebohm.

Here is a clip of Coach Seebohm talking about the need for buy in and accountability on the defensive end and avoiding too many "what if?" situations...
OCC#2 wrapped up with a great Q & A on PNR defence with @UCCapitals Head Coach, Paul Goriss.

Below is a snippet of Coach Goriss providing some important insight into some key areas of improvement in PNR D for elite junior athletes.
In OCC#3 we had @coachliamflynn share his wealth of knowledge on the international game, including this gem into how to approach scouting and game preparation at the pro level including during @BasketballCL play.
Rounding out OCC#3 we were lucky enough to have Australia's leader in coach education & development @lono610 present and take questions!

Hear how Coach Lonergan approaches his own learning in the clip below.
OCC#4 we learnt from @BasketballNZ's @meljd08 on the topic of "tagging up - defensive trans".

The below clip outlines how Coach Downer avoids emphasising the importance of offensive rebounding when 1st implementing the tagging up system, then builds in the option over time...
Following Mel in OCC#4, we had the great man from @Basketball_Tas @markradford23 present on "The Tasmanian Way".

I loved Coach Radford's response to @coachmoorej's great question on managing stakeholders resistant to change... check it out!
