Indigenous people have a lot more respect for the plants and animals than most vegans. I said what I said. You cannot preach animal rights and think of plant matter as merely things that cannot feel like animals. There’s still life to them and they must be respected the same way.
There’s a way to respect things before you take them. To appreciate life means to appreciate it in all facets whether or not you consume meat, or not. It’s about understanding that things sustain us and we must give back by any means.
The problem is people are greedy and will ravage anything for the sake of selfishness. The problem is cruelty. You cannot think you no longer eating animals but not respecting plants is gonna get you anywhere. You’re disrespecting the faeries and any spirit guarding these plants.
Treat plants as if they’re animals. Before you take, give thanks. Appreciate.
Even small things by knowing a plant or any animal product is nourishing you. We cannot be perfect by the means of not having a wide range of convenient and ethical means, but understand and just appreciate whenever you can as you’re eating or just general reflection.
If you ever go herbal foraging or ever have to kill an animal. Give thanks and give love. Use that for good and appreciate what life brings us 💚
Don’t overharvest either. Make sure you’re doing the earth a service by allowing them to replenish for the next person. Be kinder, think about life as a whole. Give gratitude 💚
There’s so many people who don’t get paid enough to even pick the fruit and vegetables we get. Please give thanks. There’s not a lot of ethical sources but doing what you can and knowing about certain brands makes a difference â˜șïžđŸ’š
