We don’t see wide spread mourning when First Nations people die due to police, nor if any other who serves the community is killed at work. Where is the mourning for the construction workers that have died who undoubtedly give more to society than cops? #VictoriaPolice #ACAB

To qualify, this is NOT a call to not mourn the loss of these lives. Any loss of life is tragic. However, it is a reference to the way we hold police in such high regard in our society, when for many the harm they produce is indescribable.
