The national government should think twice in implementing this 'Balik Probinsya' Program. Our country has not been able to contain the virus yet, and now they are pushing this?? For what? To spread the virus to other provinces??

If this will push through, and I heard this will be implemented after April 30, then those poor provinces like the N. Samar, whose hospital facilities btw are way too poor & whose people are among the poorest, then you officials run afoul of ur oath to take care of us, ur people.
I am aware of the quarantine period of those people who are willing to go home. And I am also well aware of the reason why they wanted to go home. But please, kindly reconsider this once the virus has been contained. Not now when COVID is at its peak in the Phils.
We had 1 patient who tested positive for COVID, but has already been discharged. It was too much for us to bear. Considering majority are poor, every business establishment has to shut down operations. That means work has to stop to. But we cannot stop our hungers right? No.
So this thread is an appeal. Appeal to our government officials to please reconsider this just until we have flatten the curve. Until we have contained the virus. Until then, we can live the 'new normal'. @lenirobredo @fthilbay @iampinglacson
