Never liked the idea of parents verbally or physically abusing their kid. After watching the video I can understand the father’s frustration, if one spends a large amount of money on fees they expect the best.
If the father is beating the child because he intends to pay for another year and doesn’t want the child to fail again I can understand that he believes fear can be a form of motivation. A lot of us have received beating from our parents. Many have said they turned out fine.
Did you really turn out fine? Some people have contemplated suicide just from the fear of facing their parents. Some of you struggle with low self esteem issues from parents verbally abusing you. Some of you compare yourself with people because your parents compared you to others
Some believe everything they do isn’t good enough because their parents were never satisfied with what they did. A lot of times the voices inside your head are echoes of your past, the insults your parents hurled at you.
After all the beating you received are you close to your family or you just rely on them for when you need stuff? Would you be closer to them if they made an effort to understand what you we’re dealing with at the time?
You barely pay attention to your mental health to know the damage abuse from your parents have caused. Just because it was how you were raised doesn’t make it right? It’s why we are stuck where are, doing the wrong things because we are familiar with it.
