1) This New Moon energy in Taurus is very strong, and very real. Conjunct Uranus and square Saturn, so although it may feel like the time to commit yourself to a purpose, it comes with plenty of strings attached and may be more trouble than it's worth.
2) There's plenty of plain truth to go round so if that's what you're looking for you won't have far to go to find it. But as Mercury begins to square Pluto and Jupiter, words can be taken too far. Not the time for warriors even though they think it's their time.
3) There's a need for fresh impulses to tackle old problems and this brings into focus the Saturn/Uranus square that will be a focus over the next few years. While it won't be exact this year, it will feature strongly early next year and issues rising up now can rise again then.
4) The old and the new, tradition and invention, are not in harmony with each other but will have to learn from each other before this square is over. It could be seen as a logical development to follow the Saturn/Pluto conjunction this year...
5) ...in that Saturn has been battered by Pluto, not being able to survive simply by doing things as they always have been done. This New Moon shows us the first glimpse of the real challenges ahead for when we have to reinvent the structures we fall back on.
6) I said last September that the world could look quite different by the end of this year. Extend that to the end of 2021 and there are many surprising, even shocking new developments in areas of technology, people's resistance to tradition and authority questions in general.
7) I remain optimistic that this will eventually see us recognising that some outdated structures have to be replaced, however difficult that may be. And replaced with structures that benefit the majority. But I am an optimist. Pessimists can revive this thread at the end of 2021
