I want to talk about something serious. We live in a world where it's very common unfortunately that our need for validation and comfort can put us in bad situations. I've been seeing it too often lately and it's driving me crazy. I want to talk about grooming and how to avoid it

Grooming is the act of gaining a person's trust and making them feel comfortable. It is a way for the manipulator to slowly create a sense of security and get from the victim what they want. A manipulator will prey on the victims self confidence by building them up

And tearing them down constantly. Giving compliments and attention when the time is right just to break it down later to make the victim feel helpless. In most cases the manipulator wants something sexual so they will try and ease into getting things like pictures and videos.

A sure fire way to realize you are being groomed is paying attention to the way they speak to you. Saying things like "your the only one I do this with". Calling you special and just over the top compliments just to break you down later. The constant conversations about

Your body out of no where. These people want one thing and they know how to get it by preying on people who are in a low place. They make you feel good but guilt you I to giving back to them in return of kind words. These people are dangerous. Please be careful who

You seem attention from. Be aware of what's being said and do not allow them to manipulate you into anything you know you don't want to do or should not be doing.

If you are underage and you state you are underage and they keep talking to you inappropriatly seek out help.

An adult will not and should not be showing attention to a minor in a sexual way, commenting on body parts or giving weird compliments.

The term "you are way more mature than you think" is a RED flag.
