Well - I say that - but then I remembered the A/C is broken in the basement and that the guy who can fix it is... ME.
And now (apparently) that's sorted. At least cool air is coming out and the filter is not getting chopped up by the blower.
But (of course) the compressor outside is making a horrendous noise now - so... that's a service call. <sigh>
