Fascinating to me how this pandemic has laid bare the inefficiencies, exploitation and cruelness at the heart of capitalism and yet there's still ghouls who are like 'yep, this economy is something worth (other people) dying for'.

And by 'fascinating' I mean 'sadly predicable'.

I don't expect like, my Mum to see all this and suddenly start calling to seize the means of production, but I think we can all agree that a system that cannot cope with humans protecting themselves for a little bit is a system we probably need to have a good hard think about.

That and people who are happy to sacrifice others just to make some imaginary numbers go up should probably not be allowed near power... or people, really.
