If you gave birth vaginally, did you tear? If so, how many stitches did you get?

I had a third degree tear & it was so messy I ended up getting 29 stitches. Which got infected, opened, & needed to be restitches. Yes, I wanted to die.
Oh also!!! If you have more than 1 kid, did you tear again with your next?
