Beating anyone as punishment has never been an option for me, not even from my secondary school days as a senior prefect. From my point of view it can only be done when necessary but not regularly. Beating up a child should never be the first option

The interested ones became very quiet including the SSS1 class too. The principal came around to check like she does regularly and she was amazed by the very quiet environment she met. She wondered what and who kept the student this silent for the first time and a student pointed
At me, she came to me and I explained everything to her and she was amazed. The best essay was rewarded with 500 hundred naira from me and the school changed their form of punishment the following week, after I made some recommendations on method of punishments.
