Another thing I hate is that Johnny Depp has had to metaphorically strip himself bare for people to believe he's a victim, has had to reveal intimate, private details of his life which no one would want for the world's 'entertainment' if we were him.
Yet he has to do that because he had no other way of defending himself against his abuser who clearly had counted on him protecting his privacy. And even with all of that out, many still don't believe him. It pains me to think how that has made him feel.
I know all victims struggle with sharing their story but I dare say most don't have to do it on a global scale. With the world judging any and every imperfection to make him out to be less worthy of sympathy. Yes, it's typical for abusers to try discredit their victims that way,
but this situation absolutely is worse because it happened while the world watched and not just that, people participated in it. This case is worse than most for the way Heard stole someone else's story, took advantage of someone else's pain and used people's sympathy for victims
of abuse for her own gain. To further abuse her victim(s). She might have directly abused her partners but she also indirectly emotionally abused the world. And that's not even a hyperbole. It might sound like one. But it isn't. And people should care.
It's ludicrous that some think we should not care because they're celebrities, he's a man, he's rich, he's just one person, it's been years, let's move on... blah blah. This has affected so many people, not just around them,
thanks to Heard's fake image of a human rights activist where she got to be a part of so many global organizations, pretending to be an ally, it affected millions of people all over the world, and she HAS TO be held accountable.
What also upsets me are people who say we, meaning him, should move on. He TRIED to. He was clearly never really wanted to expose her. She forced him to by psychologically abusing him through the media which she continued to do because without her fake story she is a no one.
She was obsessed with her fake victimhood, and him, since she has nothing else going for her. Meaning he cannot actually "move on" until she's fully exposed because she would just keep on lying so long as people buy it.
There is no moving on from this unless the world stops letting her bully and harass him, and stops participating in it too. You do not tell a victim to move on when they're being abused. And until she stops lying, he is still being abused. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp #JusticeForJohnny
