Lot’s of mixed reviews on new #PlanetoftheHumans documentary. What I think @MMFlint gets right is actually in this @StephenAtHome clip. “We can’t solar panel and windmill our way out of this.” It’s a call to action that we need to do more.
Beware of corporate greenwashing, look closely at the environmental groups that you support, and recognize that we need wind, and solar, and storage, and nuclear, and many more technologies and policies for fast-acting, comprehensive action.

Finally, we have an opportunity now to reexamine the type of society that we want to return to. Is our go-go, consumerist lifestyle sustainable? I’m questioning my own habits and looking at ways that I can live even more minimally.
For this, I highly recommend checking out @TheMinimalists for ideas on how to lead a simpler, happier, much more sustainable lifestyle.
Adding to this thread, an insightful article by @ecopragmatist of @Gen_Atomic on how our guilt has driven us to blindly accept whatever the traditional greens say: https://medium.com/generation-atomic/the-risk-of-wallowing-in-climate-guilt-83d47247404
