Let’s get begin

Jeongguk was a bit stubborn. He was the type to make rational decisions even when he knew he shouldn’t, that’s why he ended his two year relationship with Taehyung. Who could blame him after what he saw?

Jeongguk sighed as his dad drove him to the house, his eyes darted at the houses as he watched them pass by.

“You okay?” He father asked. Jeongguk was not okay but he didn’t want his dad to know. So he nodded.

“Great.” He says a soft smile on his face.

Jeongguks eyes widened when his father stopped at a large black gate. The house was pretty far from the other ones and he wondered what these people did for a living.

“Are they narcs?” Jeongguk asked and his father scowled at him.

“No. They are both doctors.”

Jeongguk hummed and he grabbed his duffel bag and opened the car door. “You be good.” His father says.

“Of course.”

“Just because you are gonna be here all alone for the weekend doesn’t mean you can bring Taehyung over.” His father snapped and Jeongguk sighed.

“You don’t have to worry about him.” He said.

“I’ll pick you up Monday morning.” He says and Jeongguk nods. The house was pretty big. It was next to a huge lake which kinda made Jeongguk happy since he liked to swim.

He walked up the small stairs and knocked on the door.

He was met with a huge smile, Jeongguk smiled back softly. “You must be Jeongguk.” The woman says. She looked around the age of 40 but she looked very good for her age.

Jeongguk grinned at her and nodded. “Yes I am.”

“You must be Mrs. Park.” He says and she nods as well.

“Come on in.” She steps aside and Jeongguks mouth falls open, it’s huge. Bigger then he imagined.

“Your house is amazing.” He says and she smiles.

“Thank you. Let me show you to where you’ll be sleeping.” She says as she walks up the stairs. Jeongguk following behind her.

It was a dark hallway, and Jeongguk counted at least six rooms that they passed. They finally made it to the last second to the last one. She opened the door and it didn’t shock Jeongguk how beautiful this room was.

“It has a bathroom and there is a closet with hangers inside if you wish to unpack.” She says.

“Thank you.”

“Let’s show you to the kitchen, I do want to warn you now it’s a lot of walking.” She chuckles.

They made it to the kitchen and Jeongguk jumped when the lights automatically turned on.

“Don’t be to alarmed, it just makes it easier for us.” She smiles. She stops at the fridge and shows him a list.

“All our contact information is on here. The pin for the alarm also.”

“Help yourself to anything in the fridge, you are gonna be here for two days.”

“And your husband?” She gives him a small smile and shakes her head.

“My wife, will be down in a minute.” Jeongguks blushed.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to assume-“

“It’s okay. No harm done.” She says.

“Any kids?” He asks trying to lighten the mood.

“One.”

“His name is Jimin. He is studying in Seoul though, so he’s not here.” She says.

Jeongguk turns when he heard another female voice come into the kitchen.

“You must be Jeons boy?” She grins and Jeongguk nods.

“Yes I’m Jeongguk.”

“Nice to meet you, I’m sure Soojin gave you all details and contacts.” Jeongguk nods.

“Great, well we should get going. We don’t want to miss our flight.” She says and Jeongguk nods.

They all walk towards the door and they both turn to Jeongguk.

“Please call if you need anything. We also have a house phone.” She says. “So don’t freak out if you hear it. It’s in the living room.” Soojin giggles.

“No problem.”

They both wave him goodbye and walk out the door. Jeongguk locks it and sighs.

“Time to explore.” He thinks.
