D&D is the Walmart of RPGs in many ways including market share & business ethics and yet there are still people who soapbox for playing 5e exclusively as if saying the ask of “please play other games” is somehow gatekeeping.

5e isn’t “more accessible” it’s just that WOTC has a long enough arm to reach you and the resources to put their books on every shelf. Stop acting like its a moral decision to grab the first thing in front of you.
