the mass shooting in NS is hard to wrap your brain around for many reasons, but the updated information is making it even more confusing than the simple fact that it happened in Canada in the first place. It’s definitely not the typical mass murder we’re used to seeing in the US.
16 different sites? Went on for over 13 hours? Emergency alerts weren’t used but twitter updates were issued? Cops shooting at a fire hall when the suspect wasn’t even there? It’s very hard to follow and I hope the pieces can be put together for the families/community involved.
