I hope it’s all talks and y’all are not actually planning to beat your kids up for failing at school.
I think it’s okay for you to discipline the child for not showing up for an exam you paid thousands of dollars for(I mean I’d be mad pissed too and some beatings might follow)

The kid had one job and that was to write the exam while his parents paid for it. So it’s totally understandable why the father would be that pissed, a lot of money down the drain.

But in a circumstance where your child failed an exam after writing it(irrespective of the amount)

And your next resolution is to beat them up then you really need to check yourself(drop all the you don’t have kids yet talk)

Beating isn’t going to change the fact they failed and it’s definitely not going to be a motivation

Once wrote a professional course and failed 3 out of 4 papers. Lots of money and efforts down the drain, really felt sad cause I’ve never really failed at anything before.

My mom was supportive and she just said you’d write the next diet, don’t worry about it these things happen

Now I can’t imagine how I’d have felt if reverse were the case and she started shouting or beating and shit like that. I was already feeling low and what she said made the whole situation better(it’s not like she didn’t think about the money that was spent too)

So most times(even though it may be hard) your kids do not need you to be logical about some situations, all they really need is a support system and someone to encourage them. Some people already think they’re dull or stupid that’s why they failed a class
