This hackathon was a blast.

I've been working on Moneymail since the joining
@beondeck + I was excited to recruit a 🔥 team to help ( @_alicema_, @gilad_kahala, @metamick14, @Thogori).

But what is Moneymail really fixing?

Simple. Money has a border problem.

Here's why👇 https://twitter.com/beondeck/status/1253084873742376960
Money on the Internet has two border problems.

:1: Geographic borders
:2: App borders
Geographic borders for Internet money are regulatory borders created by governments restraining money flow between countries, banks, and, as a result, their citizens.
App borders for Internet money are competitive borders built by tech companies to keep other companies from taking or taxing their citizens (users).
These tech companies want to control the information flow (e.g. API access) and money flow for a number of reasons that basically come down to competition.
Most startups generally start as open as possible but trend towards closed borders when they succeed.

Countries are the same. Smart countries start open but trend towards closed borders.
See The U.S.A. It was built on immigration + open borders but today borders are being closed under the guise of user protection.

It's not. It's because they are afraid of competition.
Money for the internet must transcend these geographic AND app competitive borders. It must move freely like information on the internet.

That’s where moneymail comes into play.
Moneymail is building tools that transcend app borders starting with filters for video streamers.

It’s pretty simple, actually. Video + QR code for social payment app.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you can probably guess where we are going from here.

But, more on that later.
If you or your friends are a video streamer, signup for Moneymail’s list to get your own filter for QR code payments.
