I'm not good at poetry but I was thinking about our healthcare workers....please enjoy!

I woke up this morning having nightmares of you, you were rushed to my office now breathing with tubes. I'll inject you with magic hoping drugs will repair, all the damage you did selfishly
with no mask in the air. So you get your tattoo and your nails painted red, now you lay in my office and for your family there's dread. All the doctors have warned you to shelter in place, you foolishly protested now we're face to face. I should be discouraged or at least
upset, I woke up to this madness, my gloved hands help you rest. I've had several nightmares waking up in a sweat, fearing I'll catch this cruel virus that you and yours jest. I don't understand how you gather in crowds, we're burying our dead with no dignity you clowns.
Now you're gasping for air, no loved ones are spared, because you protested the truth and you're in death's lair. I've decided to love you and comfort your soul, but your death is still tragic and that you must know. For I am your doctor, assistant or nurse, ad I'll treat you
the same as you die from this curse. We're doing our best and sacrificing the most, not for money or fame or even to boast. So when we ask you to please stay at home, don't be rushed to my office where death comes by phone. I don't think I'm asking too much for you to stay home
allow me to see my kids and not hug them by phone.

PEACE
