Here’s a thread on everything related to the OUTLAST video game franchise! This is my attempt at getting people to play these games!

They’re all available on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Switch! It’s about $60 in total to get all of them but I believe that’s incredibly worth it.
The Protagonists...
Miles Upshur (Outlast)
~
Miles Upshur is the protagonist of the first game, OUTLAST. He’s a reporter that received a tip on the conspiracies behind the Murkoff Corporation at Mount Massive Asylum. He uncovers the mysteries and has to escape in order to release the truth.
Waylon Park (Whistleblower)
~
Waylon Park is the protagonist of the DLC for OUTLAST, WHISTLEBLOWER. He’s an employee of the Murkoff Corporation and sends an email to a reporter to expose the company. Unfortunately, they catch him and he’s forced to escape before he’s killed.
Blake Langermann (Outlast II)
~
Blake Langermann is the protagonist of the sequel, OUTLAST II. Blake is a journalist on a mission to find his wife, Lynn, after their helicopter crashes in the Arizona desert during a case. Blake is tormented by his past and those around him.
The Antagonists...
Chris Walker (Outlast & Whistleblower)
~
A Murkoff Security Guard with a background in military and police, Chris Walker relentlessly pursues Miles and Waylon, trying to contain the situation. He just really likes ripping off people’s heads.
Richard Trager (Outlast)
~
A Murkoff Executive who became a Variant himself. *Variants are patients of Mount Massive Asylum that became subjects of the mind altering Morphogenic Engine. Trager conducts experiments on patients to learn more about biology.
The Twins (Outlast & Whistleblower)
~
Loyal to one of the few helpful characters in the game, The Twins allow Miles a headstart before pursuing him. They very respectfully agree on who gets his tongue and liver after they k*ll him.
The Walrider (Outlast & Whistleblower)
~
Murkoff exposed patients to Morphogenic Engine Therapy to create a suitable vessel for The Walrider, for only a person that has seen enough horror can become the host.
Eddie Gluskin/The Groom (Whistleblower)
~
Possibly the most complex character in this franchise, Eddie Gluskin comes from a tortured past and becomes subjected to Murkoff’s experiments. He enjoys mutilating his victims, but all he wants is to find a “willing” bride.
Jeremy Blaire (Whistleblower)
~
Executive Vice President of Global Project Development at Murkoff Corporation, Jeremy Blaire stops at nothing to contain Waylon in the Asylum, preventing him from exposing their evil acts to the world.
Frank Manera/ The Cannibal (Whistleblower)
~
Not much to this guy. He literally just wants to eat people. Nice dude.
Martin Archimbaud/Father Martin (Outlast & Whistleblower)
~
Father Martin is a self-proclaimed prophet and believer in the Walrider. He wants the word to get out, so he helps Miles and Waylon on their journey of escape. He’s at the Asylum for murder, so he’s not perfect.
Sullivan Knoth (Outlast II)
~
Knoth is the founder and leader of the Testament of the New Ezekiel, a fanatic group of cultists who have made their home in Temple Gate, a remote town in the wilderness of Arizona. He’s got some outlandish beliefs that’s for sure.
Val (Outlast II)
~
Val is a former deacon of the Testament of the New Ezekiel. She eventually betrayed Knoth and decided to bring forth the apocalypse and assisting in the birth of the anti-christ. Val became the leader of defectors known as The Heretics.
