Never mind the implicit (and fallacious) argument here - which he gets at in the “bi-polar world” stuff - “Eastern Europeans should live under totalitarian states because it helps my collective bargaining rights in a liberal democracy”. Which is *all* kinds of immoral.

(And actually wrong, the reason why western collective bargaining rights fell apart is union membership declined and the unions that held their members were actively obstructionist and made massive massive errors)
