// okay here i go!

= THREAD: shit you'll need in your profile =

this is hypocritical of me given that THIS account is pretty sloppy but my other account (@/THESPROTIS) is much neater, and is a decent example https://twitter.com/Sawtooth44/status/1253010403832938501
// so what do you need to tackle in your profile?

- your info as a writer
- your muse's info

OCs and AUs: information on your muse is VERY IMPORTANT. Aside from your pinned, don't be afraid to talk about them in OOC tweets/DMs, or unveiling story/lore in actual RP. keep your—
—followers engaged in your character. BE APPROACHABLE. Eventually other people will initiate RPs with you.

This also applies to canon characters who are built mostly on headcanons, like Aphrodite, Demeter, and Zeus from Fate, or Layla Prismiver from Touhou.
With that note set aside, let's get down to what you DO need to write on your profile.
YOUR ACCOUNT AT A FIRST GLANCE:
Aside from fancy aesthetic stuff you may want to put up in your pinned, you will need to set some base rules. THIS HAS TO BE AMONG THE FIRST THINGS VISITORS HAVE TO SEE.
1. SFW, NSFW, or both?
- SFW, NSFW, those are loose terms that depend on the individual writer. SFW is associated with comedy, fluff, adventure, cartoon violence, etc rp.
NSFW is most commonly associated with sex but can also be used to refer to other dark themes—
—like crime, gore, and horror.
Some writers indicate that they do both SFW and NSFW rp with "SFW/NSFW" but personally I recommend just writin' it as "N/SFW"—saves the character count.
2. Lewd or not?
Some NSFW writers love roleplaying horror, but aren't comfortable with writing sex. Some others write horny shit and nothing else. Both are valid! What matters here is that they write the specifics down.

Do they make raunchy jokes on TL, and only do lewd in DMs—
—only? Are they horny on TL? Cut to black if sex scenes in otherwise non-lewd threads happen? Details, details.
3. Your RP specialty
What RP do you usually do? Fluff? Combat? Adventure? Crack? What are your limits?
4. Other stuff:
- your writer tag/account so people can tell who you are
- your timezone
- your verse/s (FateRP, MVRP, etc.)
- if you're multi-ship, single-ship, and whatnot
I'm finally getting sleepy so I'll hold off finishing this now, but I hope this is already of help!
// I forgot about this thread, but now that I remember, I'm going to write out muse info you'll need on your pinned
