unfortunately i think misa's introduction is kinda where the writing starts to take a dip, it was really solid when it was completely focused on light and L's mind battle but i guess the writer lost balance when they had to introduce more factors

i almost wanna ask if light could convince rem to kill L why couldn't he just ask ryuk to do it but i think ryuk would've just went Nah cuz he was enjoying the show too much and ending it like that himself would've been too easy and unsatisfying
