So as I was writing Shoe-Man, I came up with some kind of un writian rules for the world and the culture of the Lilynites that you can see in the comics, but I never state explicitly. (Thread)
First of all: Shoe-Man. He wasn’t born in the Lily Forrest. His robe has two dimonds on the sleeves, doesn’t button all the way down, and the details are in grey. He also wears a hat. This is very much Cityberg Lilynite attire. Also notice how his arms are exposed.
Meanwhile, Marge and the other Lily Forrest Lilynites have black details, with circles on the sleeves. The men have short sleeves with arm coverings and the women have long sleeves. You can see this on Molly and Makenzie. In the second image it goes woman, woman, man.
Foucosing on the “man” part of that, notice that no matter what, no neck, leg or arm is exposed. Lilynites have a thing about modesty. But not Cityberg Lilynites, which is why Shoe-Man has exposed arms.
Here’s an outlier: Maddox. They’re nonbinary. So they dress in their own way. Still covering the neck and arms, but with a waistline trimming and a different neck cover. Also showing that they’re an outcast, because their clothes don’t resemble the other’s.
Meanwhile the Wizard of The Forrest: you can tell that she’s not a Lilynite right away. First of all she has black hair. All Lilynites are fair haired. She also exposes her arms, and wears shorts, while all Lilynites wear robes, even Maddox.
That’s it. This thread is mostly just to write down all the rules so I can refer to them latter. Thanks for reading.
