One thing I love about being Muslim in Cape Town is a gadat. Yoh I love a gadat.

I live in a town where the Muslim population was very small when I was growing up. Every Thursday night the madrassah transport picked us up (all the kids from madrassah who could go) and we'd have a gadat at a different person's house every week.
