I just acquired this tape filmed at The Anthrax in CT in 1988. I& #39;m trying to track down the person who filmed it so I can 1) get their permission to post it and 2) credit them. I& #39;m using a couple methods that have worked for me in the past and maybe someone reading this can help.
Approach 1: I& #39;m listening for in-between song banter between people within earshot or directly addressing the filmer. Sometime& #39;s a name is mentioned or a clue is dropped.
Approach 2: I& #39;m trying to find photos taken at this show so I can visually identify the videographer. Judge was filmed from from stage left next to Porcell. Does anyone have photos of this show (November 25, 1988) or know of any photographers who may have shot it?
One picture of Porcell will likely have the videographer in frame.
Hogan& #39;s Heroes and Insted were filmed from the crowd, so I highly doubt we& #39;ll get a visual lead from those.

Already getting messaged old photos with nameless videographers in the background. Stay tuned.
This is truly insane.

This person could be the filmer. Mike& #39;s outfit seems to match the footage. Only discrepancy: Jimmy Yu is stage left and not Porcell, like in the footage. It IS possible Porcell and Yu swapped spots during a song. I will try matching the stage potatoes.
Mike& #39;s shirt matches. If I can find a moment where Yu and Porcell swap places, then we have a visual ID on the filmer.
So this Judge recording is actually the same show as Alone In A Crowd& #39;s first and only show (before last year& #39;s reunion). Perhaps the known video/photo documentation of their set holds a clue.
