so like. when i was younger, i had a friend. that friendship had some problems but one of the things was that this friend...clearly fetishized trans and intersex bodies

also, fetishized people of color. but that's not related to my issue

basically, this has seriously impacted me. when i see an intersex positivity post talking about how were cute and valid and pretty and attractive, even if its innocent, i'm on edge. i'm waiting for the catch

all this to say, it is hard. and to please be mindful. because even if your intentions are completely good and innocent and there is nothing wrong with what youre posting, most of us have been subject to some kind of mistreatment over our bodies. made to feel inhuman even

idk why i'm even making this thread i try not to get personal online but. yea. it's hard and sometimes i feel unattractive for it and in a sick twist of fate, i get afraid of being found attractive for the wrong reasons. bc some people suck
