this coffee tastes weird but unable to tell if the issue is me or the coffee or some mix of the two

I'll be honest, not really sure on what coffee is even supposed to taste like or even quite certain if I LIKE coffee...which feels like something I should know considering I drink 2-3 cups a day.

Maybe I need to order Finnish coffee.

My parents used to have an absurd amount of Finnish coffee in the house. I think these brands in particular.

This was because they had a bunch of Finnish friends who kept gifting us coffee, even though (at first) my family didn't drink coffee.

The only reason my family had coffee when Finnish friends visited was it was made for the Finnish friends.

But since my family made it every time they visited, they assumed my family liked coffee. Which is how they ended up with three dozen things of coffee.

And since we literally had more coffee than we could even give away, my parents started drinking it, then found out they liked it.

I drank it with a copious amount of vanilla creamer. After 15 years I weaned myself off the creamer until I was drinking it black.

But now I'm left wondering: do I even like this stuff, or should I go back to the copious creamer route?
