Next album.
What could be their next concept for Map of the Soul Era?!
"Man becomes whole, integrated, calm, fertile, and happy when (and only when) the process of individuation is complete, when the conscious and the unconscious have learned to live at peace and to complement one another." - C.G. Jung
1. What is the process of individuation?!

It's a psychological development that allows us to attain a wholeness and singular personality (SELF) but integrating all the personalities.

This means, the development of the EGO and the PERSONA towards the SELF.
In this process we need to separate the consciousness of the EGO and the unconscious nature of the EGO, in order to learn how to assimilate each of them and integrate them:
1. Identify the PERSONA
2. Assimilate the SHADOW
3. Assimilate the ANIMA/ANIMUS
4. Combine them in the SELF
We can say that the process of individuation is like a journey in which each of us become the HERO of our own story.
2. Hero's journey as a process of individuation

- Why HERO?! Why Myth?!

Tales and myths show us the development of the main character (HERO), showing us how they face their hardships and how those lead them to attain a more mature personality (conscious & unconscious).
Myths and Tales make the explanation of one's transformation in life easier to the reader/viewer to understand it and learn from it.
The reader/viewer ends up learning things from their past (Who I was), the present (Who I am) and the future (Who I'll be).
- Examples of HERO's

Demian, Lion's King, Taran Wanderer...these stories start with the main character in its early 10s age, ending with a grow adult character in their 20s. This is called the "Coming-of-age" process, sometimes going along with the reader/viewer's own process.
Thinking about it, isn't the same with @BTS_twt?

"Teenagers in their 10s and 20s, let's talk about it easily" - Debut trailer

ARMY has grown with BTS, we've been experiencing this journey of self-discovering since the beginning. But instead of myths/tales, they use their music.
And like I said, these stories allows you to see and learn who you were, who you're now and who you'll.

"I'm still looking for Who I used to be (Past: childhood), Who I Am now (Present: Youth) and Who I will be in the future (Future: adulthood)" - Jungkook (MMA VCR 2019)
I named Demian, Lion's King and Taran Wanderer. The hero's of these stories have many things in common.
First, the main character doesn't know who he is:

"Who am I?!" "What Man am I?!"
And besides that, after @Snigdha_BTS recommended me an article that explained Taran Wanderer story from a psychological POV I realized that, Demian and Taran Wanderer are even more similar since both can de explained with Jungian psychology.
And last we can find at least 3 archetypes identifed in each story:

- PERSONA + EGO:
Sinclair, Taran, Simba
- SHADOW:
Demian, Dorath, Scar
- ANIMA:
Eva,..., Nala
- TRICKSTER:
Kromer, Gurgi, Scar
- WISE OLD MAN:
Pistorius,...., Rafiki

3. To be continued...
MOTS ANIMA/ANIMUS ⁉

"....But one must learn to know oneself in order to know who one is.

For what comes after the door is, surprisingly enough, a boundless expanse full of unprecedented uncertainty..."
With Namjoon, we saw that the image the we saw of us is not our true self, it's a mask that we wear in order to protect ourselves from the outer world.
So PERSONA is the bridge between the outer world and the EGO. https://twitter.com/__Samira7__/status/1151606398003888129
Taking of that mask, we realize that we also have a side of us that our EGO don't like and that we hide: our SHADOW. The shadow is that door that will lead us the the inner world. And that's what we saw with Yoongi. https://twitter.com/__Samira7__/status/1215780815130570757
Jung said that the process of individuation leads us to first assimilate the SHADOW and that's what we see with Hoseok, we assimilated that dark side of us, we accepted who we are and we're ready to keep on our journey.

"That's my EGO
Keep going now" https://twitter.com/__Samira7__/status/1224449608715161601
- ANIMA/ANIMUS

"You don't know who she is, she's not quite real, too good to be true; and there something wring somewhere" - C.G. Jung about the Anima

https://twitter.com/__Samira7__/status/1099659706556133377
Anima (Soul in latin) and Animus (Spirit in Latin) appears mostly in our DREAMs being their image related to the mother figure (Anima) and the father figure (Animus).

We can also uncounsciously feel attracted to someone who is the projection of our Anima/Animus.
The Anima complements the Persona.
While the Persona allows us to adapt to the outside (protecting the EGO), the Anima/us help us to adapt to the inside (SELF).
They act like bridges between the consciousness and unconsciousness.
There are 4 levels of ANIMA:

- Eve: The Anima is like our mother, we need her.
- Helen: ideal feminine image, woman pulling the strings.
- Mary: Divine image of a woman (sacred image).
- Sophia: Wisdom, the mediator between EGO and SELF. https://twitter.com/MochiMiniMints/status/1105489418251431937
There are also 4 levels of ANIMUS:

- Man of power: it appeara in our dream as the embodiment of physical power.
- Man of action: initiative, the desire of independence and career.
- Man of word: the professor
- Spiritual guide or Hermes: the messenger of God's
How they migh approach this concept?! Tbh Idk, but I believe that we would probably go back to Highlight Reel. Jung said:

"If the SHADOW is the apprentice piece, ANIMA is the master piece"

P.s. 4 levels of ANIMA/ANIMUS (*cough* vocal line intro *cough*) 👀

I'll end the thread here. I'll be doing more researchers about ANIMA and ANIMUS but I do belive it would be the next concept (if they dont go for a free concept 🤔).

Anyway thank you for reading and I Hope you'd like it 💜
