Badly missing having a cat. Should I

NB my cat was a big outgoing dude and I miss that; my children are the right age for kittens; the neighbour’s cat is handsome but aloof and they leave him out all day in all weathers.

Obviously I would not buy a cat or kittens. Rescue forever.

Our old cat was a less appealing adoptee because he needed lifelong medication and was overlooked by many rehomers but he was AMAZING. I do like the idea of being some wonky cat’s chance of rescue again.
