Democrat leaders never "cave" to republicans, they simply want the same things.

When there's something they don't actually want, like single payer, living wage, or free college, for instance, they are tenacious and unyielding, savvy and relentless political warriors in their efforts to stop it.

Tax cuts for billionaires though? Bank bailouts? Oil lucre? Democrat leaders love these things, which is why they always pass regardless of who is in power. They only pretend to oppose them to trick you dipshits into voting for them.
