there are too many reasons to love him...

HIS TALENTS. this man is incredibly talented & his vocal is so underrated. he got this smooth, soothing tone & so calming to hear which gladly he finally able to showcase more recently & shine more as a vocalist.

yuta once mentioned that johnny have worked on his vocal skill. it’s really amazing to his growth, him getting more & more comfortable to sing anytime & anywhere like during lives or on vlogs.

beside vocal, he also play instruments like piano & DJ mixer (his DJ name is John-D), also took part on writing two songs for neo zone album & got credited for them. he’s musically gifted & very natural.

johnny is a very hardworking man. being accepted into SM at the age of 12/13, the nct member that trained the longest for almost a decade yet he chose his education first over debuting, flying back & forth to korea during school breaks until graduation.

he loves what he’s doing & he shows it. he loves performing & he enjoy every moment being up there on the stage. how passionate & energetic he is, really says it all.

even his passion for smallest or trivial things is so admirable. like his undying love for coffee & photography, with a little touch of his creativity he able to turn his hobbies into contents. he put out his efforts in everything he do.

he takes his time when it comes to learning, he likes to learn new things & he work hard on that. let’s say his mandarin skills that he worked on since predebut. kun admitted that johnny have the best skill among the foreign members.

his way of communicating with johfam. he didn’t only show us the “johnny from NCT”. through JCC & enana, he gave us the privilege to see the other side of him that he chose to show, the “johnny suh” side of him.

he’s a genuine listeners & cherish everyone he care for. when people talk about him, it’s always his virtue you hear. from ten who learned korean from johnny when he first came to train & become close with him, taeyong said he’s someone he can rely on, jaehyun freely shares–

anything with him & have deep talks with, doing things that siblings do with mark as if he’s his own brother, to xiaojun who said he wants to become closer with him & do live together when there’s a chance.

he’s a kindhearted one who loves to give compliments, he always have a way to do it. haechan said he loves talking with johnny cause he always gives compliments.

yet he got shy when the compliments returned back to him

he has a very wise, simple & clear way of thinking. he use small quotes yet very encouraging & makes you realize the importance of them.

though he doubted himself sometimes, but he showed us that it’s something human. that it’s okay to take your own time to figure things out, to see everything more from the positive side, to enhance your strength & embrace your weaknesses.

he has a bright & sunny personality, always happy & cheerful. he literally will do anything to make everyone smile & doesn’t mind if he looks silly, he took the “weird” judgement as a compliment for him.

he’s someone who’s soft at heart. he cries when feels touched or moved, he openly express his feelings & emotions, and that he’s always thankful for everything love & support given to him.

he described himself as someone romantic, the members also agreed that he’s the most romantic & a gentleman one.

he also described himself as selfish, but in a good way. what he meant is he wants himself to be happy first in order to give everyone the same happiness he’s feeling.

he’s also very affectionate to the members & isn’t afraid to show much he care & love them. guess it has something to do with his romantic side :)

johnny is a mood-maker, an energizer. he knows how to brighten up someone’s day, he transmitted his positive energy to everyone. he is a contagious happy virus & so precious.

his way of showing love to his parents, especially the beautiful connection of him & mama suh. he got a nickname “kangaroo” as a child cause he was so attached to her. how he said his mom is his hero & that he reflects all the things she had taught him.

johnny is so full of love, he have so much love to give. he love life, he love music, he love animals, even he love the idea of starting a family. but that’s him, he loves loving.

no. i’m not just talking about his physique, the confidence that he has built up, is the highlight here. that laugh after he proudly show us the results of his hard works. he’s growing from the inside & also outside, go johnny!!

and there are many more things to love about him, you name it. so, i really hope many people realize how amazing & wonderful he is & see him beyond his look. to johnny, i’m praying for his well being, hope he always feel the same happiness as he gave us, if not more.
