If you have bpd you’ve probably done some of the following ~ (a thread)

• shouted “leave me alone” but then get mad & sob if they actually do
• said ‘I hate you’ to the person you love the most
• gone back to a toxic ex
• been unable to walk away from someone you should
• not knowing whether it’s the illness or you
• being addicted to a toxic relationship
• having to cancel plans cos your mood has just changed
• feeling betrayed if someone isn’t there for you & resenting them
• wanting to hurt yourself over something others see as trivial
• somedays feeling everything and somedays feeling absolutely nothing
• having casual suicidal thoughts pop into your head
• becoming so intrigued w/ a new hobby then no longer being interested
• your future goals change constantly
• you’re unable to take criticism
• had the police called on you
• smashed everything up during a rage • suddenly feeling nothing for the person you adored
• having casual sex to fill the emptiness & the longing of just wanting to be loved then regretting it
• feeling like no one understands you
• been told “it’s like walking on egg shells around you” or “you’re just over reacting”
• begged someone to not leave you
• broke down over ‘imagined’ abandonment
• believed your own paranoid thoughts
• perceived that someones tone is off with you & feeling so hurt
• deliberately ignoring your fp to feel control even though you’re not & are dying to reply
• done something to ‘test’ how much someone loves/care about you
• contemplated starting a new life & changing your identity
• planned a future in your head w/ someone you barely know
