“I can’t believe i’m marrying him tomorrow,” Daichi smiled, his finger running along the rim of the coffee cup as the sun would occasionally catch the engagement ring. Suga’s eyes trained on the ring as it gleamed in the light, trying to avoid the bright red string that was tied-
just above it.
Suga’s eyes finally dragged back up to look at Daichi’s face before smiling softly. “Yeah, it’s crazy to believe you two have been together for 7 years,” he stated, mind drifting back to their last year in high school where Daichi and Kuroo met. Daichi let out a-

hearty chuckle, before saying a quiet and soft “yeah, crazy.”

watching as people walked past the small and cozy shop trying to hide his frown with the cup as he sipped the hot beverage.
“Suga?” Daichi suddenly broke the silence between them, causing the light haired man to look over at his friend with in eyebrow raised in question. -

Daichi breathed in, clasping his hands together and twiddling his thumbs in a form of anxiety. “You know how you can see the soulmate strings?”
Suga’s eyes widened at his friend. “Y-yeah,” he stammered, hands started to shake as he set the warm cup back down on the wooden table.
Suga’s eyes widened at his friend. “Y-yeah,” he stammered, hands started to shake as he set the warm cup back down on the wooden table.
A few years ago Suga decided to tell Daichi that he was gifted with the ability to see the strings of fate, but he never told him that they were connected. He didn’t want to ruin anything with his best friend, especially after Daichi had fallen deep in love with Kuroo. -
The dark haired male tugged his bottom lip in between his teeth, eyes avoiding the curious and anxious gaze of the man across the table. “Kuroo says that Kenma can see them too,” he started, Suga stayed silent encouraging him to continue. “Um, he said he asked Kenma about us and-
they said that we weren’t connected.” Daichi breathed in heavily, lifting his head to finally meet Suga’s gaze again. “I-is that true?”
Suga’s breath hitched as he blinked slowly, taking in the fact that he could see the tears threatening to fall from Daichi’s eyes. -

He chewed on the inside of his cheek and slowly nodded, confirming that is was true. Daichi sighed, bringing his hands up to cover his face as he felt the tears slipping down his cheeks.

Suga smiled gently, nodding his head to accept Daichi’s request. “I can do that,” he said, trying the mask the sadness in his voice. Daichi beamed brightly at him, reaches his hands across the table and clasping -

He sighed deeply before pressing call button on Kenma’s contact.
“Hello?” Kenma’s soft voice travelled through the speakers on the phone. “Hi, It’s Sugawara,” the man greeted, his free hand resting on his thigh and drumming his fingers anxiously on his skin. -

“Hey Suga, what’s up?” Kenma asked, leaning back in their gaming chair, eyes trained on the pause screen of the game they had been playing.

Kenma hummed again “I cut it a little while ago, he fell in love with Daichi. I didn’t want to get in between them, they make each other happy.” This time is was Suga’s turn to hum in agreement, he knew exactly what the younger boy was talking about. -
“Daichi wants me to cut his and tie it to Kuroo’s,” Suga suddenly said after a beat of silence. Kenma let out a small breath at the confession, their eyes focusing on their own cut string.
“You?” Kenma questioned, causing Suga to let out a gentle sound of confusion. -

Suga frowned as the phone went silent, confused at Kenma’s statement. Why would he need to be careful? What would happen? He shook his head ridding himself of his thoughts before placed his phone down on the beside table and eyeing the scissors that rested right -
beside the device.
His hand reached over and grabbed the scissors, holding them in his hand gently as he stared down at the red string. He took a deep breath and puffed his cheeks out, tears quickly slipping out of his eyes and down his face. He opened the scissors and placed -

tip of the cut. Suga chewed on the inside of his cheek before laying down on his side, facing the window. He watched the night sky with blurry eyes, tears falling down the bridge of his nose and onto his pillow. -

He then quickly sent a look towards Daichi, “mind if i steal the special guys for a few minutes?” he asked the group before turning around and pushing the two groom’s away from the group into a small secluded area. -
Kuroo raised an eyebrow at the two men, “what’s going on?” Daichi smiles as he turns towards his fiancé. “Suga told me that you can retie strings to change the fate, i asked him to do that for us.” Suga looked down at the ground, hands clasped together behind his back as he -
focused on the shiny dress shoes on his feet.

see it fraying even more. He frowned before he felt his body crash into another force.
His eyes found Kenma’s, who was looking Suga’s right hand right at the broken string. Suga quickly retracted his hand from Kenma’s view, hiding it behind his back. Kenma looked up at Suga, -

a look of guilt in their eyes. “I’m sorry,” they said gently. Suga furrowed his brows before his eyes caught the gray string on Kenma’s left hand. It was barley even left, only the small bit tied around their ring finger, about a centimetre of frayed string falling from it. -
Suga took a deep breath before a harsh sobbed racked through his body. Kenma frowned and hesitantly pulled the taller man into their arms as the two of them sunk to the floor. Suga gripped tightly onto the others jacket, his head rested in between the crook of their neck wetting-
their jacket with tears. Kenma gently patted Suga’s head, whispering soft encouraging words in an attempt to calm them.
