The Bodhi tree, located in northern India is traditionally said to be the site where the Buddha himself achieved enlightenment , it is one of the holiest sites in Buddhism it’s branches and trunk would make for a good few pews
The Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib It is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism, the gold foil in it could be melted down and used in chalices for the Eucharist
The Carnac stones (Breton: Steudadoù Karnag) are an exceptionally dense collection of megalithic sites in Brittany, The stones were erected at some stage during the Neolithic period, probably around 3300 BCE, They would make a good foundation for a cathedral
