Hey yall, I took the day off from the DayJob for mental health reasons. Would you be interested in a thread actually defining what I like to see in "diverse" stories as an editor and how I approach editing books dealing with marginalized identities?

I'm thinking of this bc of many great Twitter convos recently, and because upcoming pitch events and whatnot bring up the questions of "wtf do you mean when you ask for diversity and OwnVoices."

I also think it's important to ask HOW an editor creates a praxis around these.
