people that live in western countries will NEVER be able to understand what its like to speak up about anything lgbt related in a conservative/homophobic country

so many of you are incredibly priveleged to live in countries that are way more progressive and open minded when it comes to lgbt related things. remember that these idols exist in an industry that sees being a feminist as a "scandal"

you demand so much from these idols (some are at the peak of their careers btw) but you never take into consideration that one sentence from their mouths can ruin their image and possibly careers in an instant

maybe in 3-5 years we can ask for more, but to put down these idols for "doing the bare minimum" while you yourself is living in a western country is so ignorant

also, can we not pretend that idols don't know what they're doing? when they recommend a lgbt song, a movie or a book, do yall think they're that dumb to not realize the message in them? yall fr think they live under a rock?
